Our complete installation process
Every commercial resin floor we install follows the same disciplined 11-step sequence. Skipping stages is the single biggest cause of coating failure, so we don't skip them.
- 1. Site Survey
Free commercial survey capturing substrate condition, chemistry exposure, MHE and shutdown windows. Every job starts here — never quoted off a floor plan alone.
- 2. Moisture & Substrate Testing
Slab moisture (RH), pull-off tensile strength, chloride and previous-coating checks. No assumptions, no guesswork.
- 3. Surface Preparation
Existing paint, sealers and contamination removed via shot-blasting or diamond grinding to reach clean, mechanically keyed concrete.
- 4. Diamond Grinding to Profile
Substrate profiled to the level the specified system requires, exposing aggregate for a true mechanical bond.
- 5. Crack, Joint & Pothole Repair
Resin mortar reinstatement of spalled slab, expansion joints, machine bases and pit surrounds.
- 6. Priming
Chemical-compatible epoxy or PU primer with silica broadcast to key the finish system to the slab.
- 7. Resin Installation
Trowel, roller or pump-applied to the specified thickness — worked to falls where drainage is present.
- 8. Decorative Finishes
Metallic movement, flake broadcast, quartz aggregate, line marking and colour zoning installed with the base finish.
- 9. Controlled Cure
Cure and return-to-service times vary by system and site conditions. Curing conditions controlled and monitored.
- 10. Final Inspection
Coverage, thickness, adhesion and finish checked against spec. Snag walk completed with the site team.
- 11. Handover & Documentation
Install records, batch numbers, DoP, product data sheets and aftercare pack handed to the facilities team — audit-ready.
