A showroom floor really has one job: disappear beneath the product and make it look better. Flat, deep in sheen, tough enough for vehicles and forklifts, and tied into the brand palette. Every showroom system we install is specified around exactly that brief.

Our installation process
Every showroom flooring project follows the same disciplined sequence. Skipping steps is where floors fail — we don't skip.
- Step 01
Design and brand alignment
We work from the client's brand palette, showroom lighting layout and product staging plan. Sample panels are produced under the actual showroom lighting so the sheen and colour are correct against LED, spot and daylight.
- Step 02
Substrate preparation
Diamond grinding to a flat, defect-free profile. Showroom floors are the most demanding for flatness because the high-gloss top coat magnifies every imperfection.
- Step 03
Repairs and levelling
Cracks, spalls and low spots are cut out and re-mortared. Where flatness is critical we apply a self-levelling epoxy underlayment to bring the substrate to SR1.
- Step 04
Primer and base coat
Penetrating epoxy primer followed by a pigmented base coat in the brand colour or a metallic underlay.
- Step 05
Decorative pour (optional)
For showrooms with a metallic or marble finish, this is the stage where the decorative work happens — hand-poured, hand-worked, one-off.
- Step 06
High-gloss top coat
A UV-stable, scratch-resistant polyurethane top coat is roller-applied to deliver the mirror finish. Two coats where maximum depth is wanted.
- Step 07
Line marking and handover
Vehicle bay marking, hazard lines and staging outlines are set out (where required) and the floor is protected until the showroom re-opens.

We're honest about specification. A system installed in the wrong environment will fail no matter how well it's laid.

Durability and lifespan
The wear pattern on a showroom floor is predictable: the top coat gradually loses depth of sheen in traffic lanes long before the base system is affected. That gives a clear window for a top-coat refresh, carried out when inspection and wear indicate it, which resets the finish without a full re-install. Service life itself varies with the system, substrate, environment, loading, use and cleaning.
For vehicle showrooms specifically, the floor is subjected to a very particular load: cars being parked, repositioned, jacked and rolled off transporters. Our showroom builds are designed around that duty, not around a static-load office spec.
Curing times
Cure and return-to-service times vary by system and site conditions. Colder conditions extend them; warmer conditions shorten them.

Maintenance and aftercare
Daily dust-mop or auto-scrubber to lift grit before it acts as sandpaper under tyres and feet. Weekly damp mop with neutral pH detergent. Avoid abrasive pads on high-gloss finishes — a red or white pad only.
For flagship showrooms we schedule a professional re-buff and re-seal as wear indicates, to maintain the mirror finish in visible sight lines.

Colour, finish and customisation
Every showroom floor is bespoke. Colour is matched to the client's brand — we can carry a Pantone or RAL through the floor, the reception desk and any resin feature surfaces in the space so the environment reads as designed.
Effect can be plain colour for a minimal look, metallic for a premium showroom, or marble for a truly bespoke feature floor. Zoning by product category, VIP staging areas and hospitality zones is standard.

Showroom Flooring — frequently asked
Will vehicle tyres mark the floor?+
No. Hot tyre pick-up only happens on incorrectly primed floors. A properly ground and primed showroom system is unaffected by warm rubber, even under repeated repositioning.
Can you install without closing the showroom?+
Yes. We routinely install overnight or across a closed weekend so trading isn't disrupted.
How reflective is the finish?+
A high-gloss top coat gives a genuine mirror-like reflection, deep enough that product staging visibly reflects in the floor. Satin and matte options are available for a softer look.
Do you offer anti-static systems?+
Yes. For technology showrooms with sensitive electronics we install anti-static resin systems with grounded copper strips as part of the specification.
How long will it last in a busy showroom?+
We don't quote a fixed lifespan — it depends on the system, traffic and cleaning regime — but a light top-coat refresh keeps the sheen in high-traffic zones looking new.
