Installation process
- 1Building survey and access plan
Occupation pattern, out-of-hours access, lift use and materials-handling plan captured.
- 2Existing floor removal
Carpet tile, LVT or existing coatings mechanically removed. Adhesive fully ground back.
- 3Diamond grinding and moisture test
Substrate prepared to the required surface profile; RH tested for suitability with resin overlay.
- 4Primer and levelling
Low-VOC primer plus resin levelling compound where substrate flatness needs correction.
- 5Body coat application
Self-smoothing, metallic or flake system laid to spec, worked flat and hero-lit before cure.
- 6Clear PU seal
Aliphatic PU seal for chair-castor resistance, colour stability and cleanability.
- 7Re-occupy zone
Cure and return-to-service times vary by system and site conditions; desks and chairs are re-fit once fully cured.
Maintenance
- Daily damp-mop with pH-neutral detergent; auto-scrubbed in larger floor plates
- Chair castors specified as soft-cast to avoid point-load marking
- Prompt spot-clean of coffee, ink and cleaning-chemical spills
- PU seal re-fresh in high-traffic corridors when wear indicates it

Can you install in an occupied building?
In most cases, yes — installs are phased zone-by-zone with low-VOC systems, active extraction and out-of-hours access. Return-to-service times vary by system and site conditions.
Will office-chair castors damage the floor?
Soft-cast castors are recommended and the aliphatic PU seal is chair-castor rated. Hard nylon castors on point loads will mark any resilient floor over time.
Can you install over underfloor heating?
Yes — systems are specified for UFH-active slabs. Heating is cycled correctly ahead of install and gradually ramped after cure.
How is it acoustically?
Resin is a hard finish. Acoustic performance is managed through the ceiling, wall treatment and rug layering — not the floor itself.
Can you match our brand colour?
Yes — RAL, BS and Pantone matches are standard. Metallic pigments are custom-blended to sample for reception heroes.
How does it compare to LVT and carpet tile?
Resin is jointless (no lifting seams), harder-wearing, and delivers a brand-quality finish LVT cannot match. Upfront cost is higher; whole-life cost is typically lower.
Is it warm underfoot?
Resin has similar thermal properties to LVT — comfortable over UFH and warmer than tiled or polished-concrete alternatives.
Can you install lift lobbies and cores at the same time?
Yes. Lift lobbies, cores and stair thresholds are installed with the main floor for a coherent, jointless finish.
How long is the install?
Programme length depends on the floor area, system and site conditions, phased around occupation.
What lifespan should we expect?
We don't quote a fixed figure — it depends on the system, substrate, environment, loading, use and cleaning. High-traffic zones take a PU seal refresh first, carried out when wear indicates it.
