Correctly specified decorative flake and self-smoothing epoxy systems are rated for full retail trolley traffic and back-of-house pump trucks.
How slip-rated is the finish?
Standard PU seals are finished to an appropriate slip rating; aggregate-broadcast entrance zones can be tuned to a higher rating to control wet-weather slip risk.
Can you match our brand colour?
Yes — RAL, BS and Pantone colour matches are standard. Flake blends can be custom-mixed to a brand palette.
Will chillers, tills and shelving damage the floor?
Static shelving legs are protected with feet or spread-load plates; chiller condensate lines should discharge into a drain, not onto the floor.
How does it compare to safety vinyl?
Resin is jointless (no lifting seams), fully colour- and slip-tunable, and typically outlasts vinyl by 2–3x in retail service.
Can you install into an existing tiled store?
Yes. Tiles are removed and the bed ground back, or an overlay screed is laid over sound tiles depending on level tolerance.
How do you handle the entrance mat well?
Entrance recesses are re-detailed with a coved edge and anti-slip aggregate to sit correctly with your walkoff matting.
What's the lifespan in retail service?
We don't quote a fixed figure. High-footfall retail floors are refreshed with a recoat when wear indicates it, and entrance zones — which take the most punishment — are re-broadcast sooner than the rest of the floor.
