Installation process
- 1Survey during service
We see the kitchen at real service to understand slip zones, drainage and cleaning pattern.
- 2Managed strip-out
Old tiles or vinyl lifted overnight; substrate diamond-ground and repaired.
- 3PU screed install
Trowel or pump-applied PU screed to the specified thickness, worked to falls where drains are present.
- 4Cove and detailing
Radiused cove formed to walls, columns and plinths, then over-coated.
- 5Seal and anti-slip
Aliphatic PU seal for chemical and colour stability; aggregate broadcast where slip rating requires.
- 6Fast handback
Cure and return-to-service times vary by system and site conditions; the programme is agreed with you before work starts.
Maintenance
- Daily deck-scrub with rotary brush and pH-neutral or mildly alkaline degreaser
- Weekly foam-clean with food-grade caustic at manufacturer-approved dilution
- Quarterly inspection of coves, drainage falls and threshold details
- Aggregate top-up in high-wear zones extends slip performance without full reinstatement
